Hybrid working has now become the norm in so many workplaces and although it offers increased flexibility and no commuting stress, it is also showing to be contributing to feelings of isolation & an inability to 'unplug'. A recent survey found that 30% of home workers reported reduced productivity since working from home.
It is all too easy to move less and eat more when work doesn't involve leaving our home. It is thought that sitting is more dangerous than smoking, kills more people than HIV and is more treacherous than parachuting. Not only this but we are becoming incessant grazers, contributing to an average weight gain of 1/2 stone each since our pre-pandemic, office commuting days.

The truth is, remote working is here to stay so let's make it work.
